Injection pipes

Injection pipes can be divided into the categories of Manual Injection Pipes for crank (handle) tightening, Mechanical Injection Pipes for nutrunner tightening, and Injection Pipes/Extension Pipes for Inflatable Packers (pipes only, no tightening device).

A distinction is also made between injection pipes for compressible packers depending on whether the pipes are used for a high-pressure or low-pressure packer. *

GMA manufactures injection pipes in dimensions 3/8", 1/2", and 1" depending on the packer size and purpose.

Unless otherwise specified, injection pipes are supplied with a ball valve, selected type of coupling, crank or long nut/end washer, and a safety hook on some models. Safety hooks are also available as an option on models not fitted as standard.

Note: Injection pipes are also referred to as "Lance" or "Cuff" in some contexts. Mechanical injection pipes are sometimes referred to as "side outlet injection pipes."

* Pay attention to which part of the injection system determines the maximum injection pressure, whether the injection pipe, packer, valve, hose coupling, or hose from the rig. It varies according to the selected components!
