An example of a pipe bushing/sealing, in this case, diameter 250 mm. The steel rings compress the rubber, which seals against the outer surface and around the pipe in the center.
The picture shows the underside of the product where the weld nuts are located, the bolted joint itself is pulled together from the top, and there you can also see the flange on which the bushing rests until tightening.
